Rogue Legacy

It's a little archaic by today's standards, but it's still fun and really brings me back to that early-ish "XBLA" indie game scene. The sequel also massively improves on it.

Your game has encountered an error and a crash log has NOT been generated. Also missing the "\_CommonRedist\" folders... I got the game to work briefly by starting the second (misspelt DLC) option but again crashed with the same error. 0/10

The roguelite that helped define the genre. The generational mechanic - where your children inherit your upgrades but also your quirks - is brilliant. Tight platforming, satisfying combat, and the "one more run" addiction is real. The sequel is great too, but this original still holds up.

great roguelike game. nothing more needs to be said.

This is a fun and simple roguelike that I personally enjoyed.
