Overall very good: Just the platforming sucks. You fall for no obvious reason. It seems that platforms sometimes end earlier, when there are ladders etc. But at least there is no falling damage. Otherwise I would have rage quit the game.

Runegate is a great side scroller that contains role playing elements. The dialog is funny. The graphics are retro yet sharp. The music is epic. The game play is fun and can be adjusted to suit all ages.

Its a good little indie game, it is a bit short. But I enjoyed it.
