Simple and short : It's not about just shooting and jumpscares. It's not even about the Simon's story. It's depressing... the hopeless atmosphere, the sad music, the mental instability, the loneliness feels like the game hates you yet you are still not ready to leave because the final piece of puzzle still remains.

It is not really scary like Amnesia or Outlast so don´t expect to be terrified, but most of the game´s fun and pretty enjoyable. And the game really clears in the end and the ending is great.

one of the best free games to ever exist, and has a unique atmosphere to it. not many games have made me feel the same way i felt playing this game (it also doesnt take a crazy ass pc to run)

I have never been so uncomfortable, uncertain and sometimes annoyed playing a game. Funny thing is, the main character goes through all of these emotions too. It's crazy how such an old game can still be a horror masterpiece.

A psychological horror favorite of mine, and it's free. There's no excuse not to try this one out
