You cannot buy this game without doing the 4x AI upscale on the backgrounds and FMV videos. Also the map upscales. once I learned how to do that the game was perfect. Fantastic JRPG. I got this decades ago for PS1 but never beat it and this is a great way to experience an old classic. It's not better than Chrono Trigger, but it is in fact a true sequel and makes me wish that they would do a third entry to the series.
