Assassin's Creed Odyssey

Basic Ubisoft open world game set in ancient Greek. Good ship combat, lots of side quests and big boss fights. The overall story of the base game is decent.

Go easy or normal difficulty, disable the entire HUD, ignore every quest except the main story and do tourism around the ancient greece until you are satisfied, that should be your goal in this game and the best experience you will get. This is probably my favorite Assassin's Creed game. It had a good blend of straightforward fighting and stealth assassination options. The Greek world felt alive. The game was long enough to feel epic in scope, but it didn't feel overly dragged out (as compared to Valhalla).

The game is good, but the forced ubisoft launcher is garbage - it's either not launching, forcing often file verification or not syncing saves to cloud, which lost me few hours of gameplay.

The story for this game is truly the work of countless talented writers who put the likes of Dostoyevski, Shakespear and Hemingway to shame.
