Repetitive? Yes. Repurposed? Yes. But the flashlight / gun combo combat is still fun enough to carry the game.

Compare with the main game, this one have more weapons with more ammo, and easy. Also a good story.

I played this after Alan Wake 1 and its DLC, this was an improvement in many, many ways, but muuuuch easier. Still highly recommend this dlc and the first game, way better story than I ever imagined.

Decent short extra, that ties well into the original story. Slightly improved gunplay, and better weapon selection. Do recommend playing it!
